Watkinsville, GA - James Randy Ashley, 53, died November 4, 2010.
Born in Greene County, he was the son of Alberta Giles Ashley of Watkinsville, and the late Floyd Earnest Ashley.
Funeral services will be Monday, November 8, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Oconee Chapel Funeral Directors with Mr. Wayne Marable and Rev. Jeff Wilkes officiating. Interment will be in Huff Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Buddy Bishop, Freddy Powell, Zane Watley, Edward Childers, Shorty Arthur and Daniel Hale.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his children, Eric Charles Ashley of Winder and April Leigh Ashley of Bishop; brother, Danny Ashley (Kathi) of Watkinsville; sisters, Bonnie Louise Arthur (Shorty) of Greensboro, Sandra Hale (Albert) of Watkinsville and Deborah Pace (Jack McDonald) of Thomaston; grandson, Dylan Ashley and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 5:00 until 7:00 PM.
Oconee Chapel Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.
