Randall Conn, 51, died Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at Athens Regional Medical Center .
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 2PM at Lord & Stephens East Chapel with Rev. Roland Airwood officiating. Burial will follow at Athens Memory Gardens . Pallbearers will be Fabian Jones, Frank Platt, David Epps, Boyd Rethke, Johnny Meadows and Frankie Gabriel.
Born in Athens , GA , he was the son of the late Howard Lee and Mary Aaron Conn. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Howard Lee Conn, Jr. He was the former owner and operator of Conn 's VCR and Electronics. Randall was a Security Officer with the Athens Clarke County School District and an Auxiliary Police Officer with the Winterville Police Department. He had attended New Beginning Worship Center , Danielsville , GA and served his country in the US Army.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Conn: children: Randall (Jennifer) Conn , Jr. of Commerce, Joshua Conn, John Taylor, Joel Kessler and Ryan Williams all of Winterville; sister: Rhonda (Jimmy Perry) Rawlins of Powder Springs; granddaughter: Jasmine Conn and niece: Heather McCloud.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
