Bishop - Dr. Rafael deGuzman, M.D., 85, died January 3, 2006.
A native of San Juan, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Jose and Enriqueta Vazques-Bruno de Guzman, and the widower of Josefina Caballero deGuzman. He was a retired psychoanalyst and a veteran of the United States Army, where was enlisted during World War II. His greatest passions were his family, crisis intervention with veterans and working with the Peace Corp.
Services will be private.
Survivors include three children, Rafael deGuzman, Josefina deGuzman, and Luli deGuzman Langenbach; seven grandchildren, Janina deGuzman, Rafi deGuzman, John deGuzman, Alex deGuzman, Andy deGuzman, Diandra Langenbach and Tai Langenbach.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
