Hull - Rachel Burt Jenkins Shepard, 74, died July 21, 2010.
A native of Madison County, GA, she was a daughter of the late Dalton and Rachel Burt Jenkins. She retired from Oconee County School System after many years of teaching and also served as counselor at Oconee County High School.
Memorial services will be Sunday, July 25, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, Danielsville.
Survivors include two children, Mollie Shepard Neufeld of Hull and Stanley Jenkins Shepard of Athens; brother, Van Dalton Jenkins of Folsom, LA; grandson, Ross Dalton Neufeld; numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Madison County Library or the Medical College of Georgia.
Lord and Stephens, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
