Rachael Rhodes Adams

Rachael Rhodes Adams, aged 97, passed away on December 30, 2024. Born in Athens, Georgia, she had resided in Colbert in Madison County for fifty-two years. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-six years, Clyde Adams, and her daughter, Carol Adams Manns.

She is survived by her two sons Terry, and Stephen (Elaine), four grandchildren and their spouses, and nine great-grandchildren.

She was an active member of Colbert Baptist Church for many years, playing a vital role in her Sunday School class. At home, she enjoyed rose gardening and hosting her loving family for gatherings.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 11 at 2:00 PM at Colbert City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any remembrances or donations be made to Colbert Baptist Church or Compassionate Care Hospice.

The family wishes to thank her hospice team caregivers and her friends for their prayers, support, and loving care.
