Arnoldsville, GA - R. T. Toney, 87, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2008.
A native of Oconee County, he was a son of the late Isa Hooper and John Newton Toney. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Annabelle Toney as well as twelve brothers and sisters. Mr. Toney was a World War II veteran of the United States Navy.
Funeral services will be Thursday, December 4, 2008, at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife, Lorene G. Toney of Arnoldsville; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
