Athens - Priscilla Boone, 66, died Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Athens Regional Medical Center .
Born in North Little Rock , Arkansas , she was the daughter of the late George and Pearl Anders Maddy. She was a member of Winterville First Baptist Church where she was a member of the JOY Sunday School Class. Priscilla was involved with the United Way of Northeast Georgia, the Womens Leadership Circle with United Way , the Scarlet O'Hatters Red Hat Society and the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia.
Survivors include her husband Richard Louis Boone, Sr., son, Richard Louis Boone, Jr. of Winterville, daughter, Georgina Burns of Henderson, Nevada, sister, Ann Goforth of Alamo, Texas, grandchildren, Sierra Boone, Summer Boone, Courtney Burns, James Burns and Jennifer Burge and great grandson, Lawson Burge.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 15, 2010 at 11AM at Winterville First Baptist Church with Rev. Palmer Rehberg and Rev. Stan Annandale officiating. Burial will follow at Athens Memory Gardens .
The family will receive friends, Sunday, November 14, 2010 from 2 until 5 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Winterville First Baptist Church , 305 N. Church Street , Winterville , GA 30683 .
