Athens - Memorial Services were held Friday, July 7, 2006 at 7:00 PM at Lanier Gardens Apartment Community for Phyllis Marie Stoermer (nee Schiefelbein), who went home to be with our Lord on Saturday, June 10, 2006.
Phyllis was born on July 7, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Walter and Gladys Bish Schiefelbein. She was a homemaker and very active in the Lanier Gardens Community.
She is survived by her loving and caring husband of 37 years, Edward, and six children, (blessed with 3 by birth and 3 more upon her marriage to Edward). They are: Pamela and Thomas Doonan of Athens, Phillip and Tami Was of Yukon, OK., Gayle and Dan Mazzocco of New Castle, PA., Lynn and Paul Dreger of Manitowac, WI., Karen and Dennis DeLuca of Ada, OH., and Gary and Ellen Stoermer of Placentia, CA. One brother; Robert of Jeromesville, OH; Three sisters, Sarah Deau of Chesterland, OH, Marian Rey of Phoenix, AZ., and Gladys Kelyman of Florence, KY. She was the proud grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Interment was in Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg, OH.
