Phyllis Jean Gerstner

Phyllis Jean Gerstner, 69, of Bogart, Georgia, died, Saturday, February 26, 2011. Mrs. Gerstner was born January 18, 1942 in Pikeville, Ky., to Richard and Mammie Blankenship, she served her country with honor in the United States Marine Corp. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m., Monday, February 28, 2011, at Lord and Stephens West. Services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at Lord and Stephens West. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Edward C. Gerstner; Son, Edward C. Gerstner, III (Charlie); Daughter-in-law, Dana S. Gerstner; Daughter, Mary Gerstner Seligman (Cissy); Son-in-law, Jason D. Seligman; Sister, Nancy Alice Craig; Her beloved dogs, Zoey and Jake; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association 1720 Epps Bridge Pkwy Athens, GA. 30606 Lord & Stephens West is in charge of arrangements.
