Philip Hayes Carpenter, 23, of Athens, GA, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015.
Born in Orlando, FL, he was the son of Douglas Hayes Carpenter of Clermont, FL, Nora Regina Dionne of Athens, GA, and brother of Eric Michael Miller of Athens, GA. Phil was a student at the University of Georgia.
Survivors in addition to his parents include his maternal grandmother: Roberta Dionne of Winter Haven, FL; paternal grandmother: Barbara Hayes Carpenter; step-father: Stephen Miller; uncles: Peter Dionne, Henry Dionne, Thomas (Rena) Dionne, Donald Carpenter; girlfriend: Jenna Biro as well as numerous cousins and extended family members.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 4:00 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
In addition to the memorial service, the Philip Carpenter Musical Memorial will be held Friday, March 6, 2015 beginning at 5PM at Nuci's Space, 396 Oconee Street, Athens, GA and this will be an open mic event.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Nuci's Space, 396 Oconee Street, Athens, GA.
