Watkinsville, GA - Peggy Bradberry Little died peacefully on February 17 in her home. Born September 12, 1932 in Athens, GA, she was a graduate of Athens High School. She married James N. Little and together they built a life in Elberton, GA and raised their family. She retired from the UGA Cooperative Extension Service in Elbert County where she touched the lives of homemakers, farmers and 4-Hers through her service. She was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church where she was active in many facets of church worship and training. Along with other friends, Peggy founded the Santa's Sleigh event and shared her artistic talent with many while establishing an annual tradition that still exists. Upon retirement, she moved to Watkinsville, GA. where she enjoyed her family and her beautiful view of the Oconee River. She is survived by her son, Neal Little of Atlanta, her daughter Katrina L. Bowers and her grandson, Drew Bowers of Watkinsville. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Little, her mother Sarah L. Huff and her father Lawrence Bradberry.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 am on Tuesday, February 20 at Oconee Presbyterian Church in Watkinsville. Visitation with the family will be held immediately after the service. A graveside service and interment will be held at 3pm at Forest Hills Cemetery in Elberton.
