Peggy Jackson, 78, passed away June 6, 2008.
A native of Bibb County, GA, Mrs. Jackson was a former resident of Barnesville and Griffin. She was a daughter of Evelyn H. Molton of Roswell, GA and the late Sona Bennett Lynch. She was preceded in death by her first husband, The Reverend Bennie Loran Rhodes and second husband, Aubrey Jackson. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church of Griffin for many years.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at 11:00 AM at Westwood Memorial Gardens, Griffin, GA.
Survivors in addition to her mother include her daughter, Dr. Leara Rhodes of Athens; son, Dana Rhodes of Charlotte, NC; sister, Virginia Hardy of Roswell; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Georgia Baptist Children's Home, www.gbchfm.org
