Pauline Sanders

Pauline Carter Sanders, 95, of Huntsville, AL, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022 in Athens, GA.

Born in Kelso, TN, she was a daughter of the late William Carter and Pearl Kent Carter. Pauline will be remembered as a fun-loving person who demonstrated a Christ-like servant heart always serving others.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Darrell E. Sanders, son, Philip Sanders and siblings, Doris Montgomery, Inez Wilder, Virginia Bell, and Lamar Carter.

Survivors include her children, Linda Gipson, David Sanders, Mike Sanders (Brooke); grandchildren Lacey Long (Ed), Jonathan Sanders (Ashley), Blake Sanders (Michelle) Leslie Hartson and Tyler Sanders; nine great grandchildren, brothers Robert Carter (June) and Jim Carter and loved also by numerous nieces and nephews of the Carter and Sanders families.

A graveside service will be Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 11:30 AM at Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville, AL.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes a gift to the Samaritan's Purse in Pauline's memory.
