Pauline Evans Maxey, age 81, of Clarke County, passed away on April 6, 2025. She was born on April 15th, 1943, in Jackson County, a daughter of the late Paul R. and Vivian O. Evans.

She was a Window Services Supervisor for the USPS and retired in 2003 after 28 years of service.
Her faith was very important to her, having accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior in 1953 at the age of 10. She served her Lord through teaching children in Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. Like her mom, she devoted herself to daily prayer and bible study.
To all her family and friends her wish was to be remembered by their dedication in heart and home to God as their Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ as their Savior, and the Holy Spirit as their Guide. One day there will be a great reunion in Heaven! She desires to see you there!
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org.
