Paul Sutton Ritchie

Paul Sutton Ritchie of Hayesville, NC, age 82, died Sunday, April 19th, in Athens Regional Hospital. Ritchie had been a long-time resident and farmer in Oglethorpe County, and then in Madison County, Georgia, before retiring and moving to the mountains of North Carolina. For the past year, he resided at High Shoals Health and Rehabilitation in High Shoals, GA.

Mr. Ritchie was born in Terre Haute, IN, February 8,1933, and was the son of the late Earland and Elizabeth Ritchie. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Hoover Ritchie, and daughters Paula Canup of Hayesville, NC, Mary Jane Perkins of Crawford, GA, and Cindy Lynn Miller, also of Crawford, GA. In addition, he is survived by three grandsons and one great granddaughter.

A memorial service will be held at Lord and Stephens East on Monday, April 20th at 5PM.
