Paul Marlowe

Paul Marlowe, 81, died February 7, 2017.
A native of Hoschton, GA, he was the son of the late Louise Nutt and Russell Paul Marlowe, Sr. He was a graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in agriculture and retired from the USDA. He enjoyed helping farmers in this area and even gardened himself. He especially enjoyed sharing tomatoes and other vegetables with his neighbors. Mr. Marlowe was a veteran of the United States Army with service in South Korea. Paul Marlowe was a charter member of Briarwood Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Briarwood Baptist Church. Interment will be at Oconee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the church.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-one years, Kay Windham Marlowe; three sons, Russ Marlowe of Lavonia; Allen (Tammy) Marlowe of Bogart and their daughter, Hannah; Daniel (Meredith) Marlowe and their children, Caitlin, Luke and Katie; two sisters, Judy Lewis of Lizella and Joy Clark of Gainesville.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to Briarwood Baptist Church.
