Belvedere, SC - Paul M. "Bud" Hilley, 79, husband of Dorothy Mae "Tripp" Hilley, died Sunday, January 29, 2006 at the VA Medical Center, Augusta, GA.
Born in Oglethorpe County, GA, he was the son of the late James and Agnes Holloway Hilley. He was a member of Lexington First Baptist Church and was the owner of a service station in Lexington for 30 years. He served his county in the US Army during WWII.
Survivors include his wife, son; George Marine Hilley of Lexington, GA brother, Roy T. Hilley of Lexington, GA, grandson, James Hilley, five nieces and five nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 31, 2006 at 2PM at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Crawford. Visitation will be held tonight from 6 until 8 at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Athens Memory Gardens, Athens, GA.
Flowers are optional.
