Patsy Wheeler

Patricia Ann Wheeler of Dover passed away Sunday, January 3, 2016 at the Milford Nursing Home. She was 72.
Mrs. Wheeler was born May 27, 1943 in Athens, Georgia to the late W.B. Cash and Christine Fowler Cash.
She married her high school sweetheart Billy Joe Wheeler in 1964 and moved to Dover, DE. Mrs. Wheeler taught at Dover High School for 42 years teaching business classes. She enjoyed collecting antiques, gardening, southern cooking, reading, and loved all animals.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Billy Joe Wheeler in 2005 and brother, Benjamin Cash.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Truitt and her husband Kevin of Camden, DE; brothers, Ronald and James Cash both of Bogart, GA, Jerry Cash of Beaverton, OR; grandchildren, Hayden and Heath Truitt, both of Camden, DE.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 2PM at Rays United Methodist Church with Rev. Jerry Varnado officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
