Patrick Thomas Beall, 77, of Bogart, died on Wednesday, May 8, 2024.
Born in Atlanta, GA to John Thomas Beall and Barbara Byrne Beall (later Barbara Byrne Allen), Pat graduated from the University of Georgia with his bachelor’s degree in 1969. He and Fran volunteered with Jimmy Carter’s presidential campaign; and Pat served as mayor of Bogart, volunteered as a firefighter, and wrote a column for the Oconee Enterprise. Professionally, Pat worked as an attorney for over thirty years. He initially worked for Legal Aid offering legal services to prisoners in south Georgia, then opened his private practice in Watkinsville. In his younger days, he was active in the Unitarian Fellowship.
Pat is survived by his wife of 50 years, Fran Eicher Beall; their two sons, Joshua Beall (Benedicte Lebehot) and Christopher Beall.
