Patricia Ann Young

Patricia Ward Young, 84, died on February 2, 2025. Patricia was born in Athens, GA on September 25, 1940, to the late Frances and Gilder Ray Ward. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Julius Young, a sister Gilda Simonton and two son, Tracy and Wesley Young. She retired from Sears. Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda (Ronnie) Whitehead; three grandchildren: Michael (Janet) Patterson, Jonathan (Angela) Young and Brooke (Logan McKissick) Whitehead; great grandchildren: Trey, Maddie, Grant, Keaton and one on the way. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 2PM Lord and Stephens West Chapel with Rev. Charles Jones officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Evergreen Memorial Park.
