Patricia Arlene Wood

Patricia Arlene Wood, 78, passed away surrounded by her family on October 11, 2021. Born in Rabun County, she was the daughter of the late Roy Lee Roach and Myrtice Patricia Wall Roach. She was also preceded in death her first husband Donald Wayne Mathews and her second husband James Mitchell Wood. Mrs. Wood retired from the medical records department at Athens Heritage Health and Rehab. Survivors include her daughters: Donna (David) Walls and Debbie Mathews; siblings: Shelby Chastain, Wilma McCall, J.L. Roach, Leon Roach and Harold Roach; grandchildren: Kasie (Roy) Appleby, Jennifer Loggins, Harlee Roberson and Hunter Walls and great grandchildren: Alexis Price, Allison Price, Aubree Sailors, Gannon Schroder and Westin Roberson.
