Watkinsville – Patricia Baldwin Tice, 89, wife of 60 years to the late Rev. Walter Harold Tice, died Sunday, September 23, 2018.
Funeral services will be held 4:30PM, Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Watkinsville First Baptist Church with Pastors Carlos Sibley and Scott Sheppard officiating. Burial will follow at Oconee Memorial Park.
A native of Atlanta, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Joseph Baldwin and Billie Dickens Baldwin. During Rev. Tice’s time as pastor of Greensboro First Baptist Church, Pat worked as a Deputy Clerk of Courts for Greene County as well as the bookkeeper for Standard Oil. She received her Bachelors in Special Education in 1991 and her masters in 1995 from the University of Georgia. Beginning in 1991, she taught Special Education with Morgan County School System and retired from Westminster Christian Aademy in 2008.
Survivors include her children and their spouses: David and Jennifer Tice, Patrick and Jerrie Tice, Sandy and Becky Tice Callaway, Sally Tice Robbins; grandchildren: Anne Claire Bramblett, Elizabeth Tice Wright, John Tice, Joseph Tice, Ross Tice, Scott Callaway, Patricia Brezina, Frances Wetmiller, Clayton Blount and Shannon Robbins and 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 3:30 until 4:30 prior to the service at the church.
