Patricia Mae Pearson, 59, of Athens passed away on February 13, 2025. Born on March 2, 1965, she was the daughter of Rosanna Phipps Sellers and the late Rufus Strouth.

Patricia spent over 40 years working at USPS as a rural mail carrier. She volunteered at the Walk on Water Homeless Ministries. She was a member of Oconee Heights Baptist Church and enjoyed Tuesday night lady’s bible studies. She loved to read, going to the beach, baking, spending time with her family and all animals.

In addition to her father, she was preceded by her stepfather, Fred Kelley.

Survivors include her mother, Rosanna Phipps Sellers; son, Jesse Pearson; stepson, Matthew Pearson; stepdaughter, Brooke Sears (Brandon); brother, Eddie Kelley; stepbrothers, Keith Sellers, Walter Sellers; stepsister, Karin Dean; special friend and caregiver, Christine Baldwin. 

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Lord & Stephens, WEST, Watkinsville. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12:00 PM.
