Patricia Smallwood Hayes, 67, died on Thursday, September 25, 2024.
Pat was born in Monroe, GA, on January 4, 1957 and was the daughter of the late Billy Smallwood and Betty Sue Pace, grandmother to the late Mason Anderson and sister to the late Glen Smallwood, Louise Smallwood and Linda Phillips. Pat retired from the Oconee County Board of Elections as that Director of Elections after 25 years. She was a loving mother, sister and wife of 47 years. She loved spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband Andy Hayes; children: Kristle (Trent) Willoughby, Michael (Sandi) Hayes and Carrie (Thomas Anderson) Hayes all of Watkinsville; siblings: Cathy (Jerry) Pace of Cherokee, NC, Lisa Shelton of Watkinsville, Tresa Malloy of Monroe and David Pace of Augusta; grandchildren: Scott (Hannah) Willoughby, Layne (Rebecca) Willoughby, Taylor (Casey) Mauldin, Zoe Willoughby, Abbie (Samuel) Ruiz, Caroline Hayes, Hudson Hayes and Logan (Jordan) Anderson and great grandchildren: Attaleigh, Haven, Colton, Stetson, Lily and Bobby.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 2PM at Lord and Stephens West Chapel with Pastor Wayne Powers officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1PM until 2PM. Interment will be held at Johnson United Methodist Church Cemetery on Monday, September 30. 2024 at 4PM.
