Carlton - Patricia Ann Gregg Carr, 77, died Monday, May 17, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospice House.
Born in Ashville , NC , she was the daughter of the late Emory Kinley Gregg and Vera O'Kelley Gregg. She retired from Columbus Police Department.
Survivors include her son, Thomas (Rebecca) Gregg of Candler, NC, step son, Charlie (Maryann) Carr of Blufton, SC, two grandchildren, Heather Gregg Barnett and Jennifer Gregg Barnes and two step grandchildren, Daniel Carr and Shannon Carr as well as several nephews and great nieces and nephews, including Becky Edwards, of Carlton, GA, Patty Whitehead, of Nicholson, GA, and Karen Britt, of Stone Mountain, GA..
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 22, 2:00 PM, at Piney Mountain Methodist Church , Pisgah Highway , Candler, North Carolina . Groce Funeral Home of Asheville, NC will handle the NC arrangements.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to St. Mary's Hospice House.
Lord & Stephens, EAST is in charge of arrangements.
