Crawford - Pat Shedd, 61, wife of Bobby Shedd, died Sunday, September 20, 2009 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born in Oglethorpe County she was the daughter of the late Roy Cecil Mauldin and Floretta Freeman Mauldin Howard. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Molly Freeman; son James "Little Bobby" Shedd Jr.; brother, William Guy Mauldin.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include children Paul Treadwell of Crawford, Lindsey Treadwell of Unadilla, Susie Williams of Hattiesburg, Miss., Brenda Shedd, Teresa Shedd and Billy Bennett, all of Texas; brothers and sisters Roy Cecil Mauldin of Crawford, Pamela Barrentine of Crawford, John B. Howard of Comer, Terry Hanley of Commerce, Starr Camp of Marietta; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. - 9 p.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2009, at the funeral home.
Lord & Stephens Oglethorpe is in charge of arrangements.
