Pat’s Story
Her journey began on December 27, 1953 in Canton, Georgia
Pat graduated from Cherokee High school in Canton, Georgia, attended Middle Georgia College then graduated from The University of Georgia with her teaching degree in Early Elementary Education. Later in life she earned her master’s degree from Piedmont College.
She was a beloved reading teacher and co-worker, working in education for 30 years.
She married Jim, her husband for 38 years, on June 26, 1982.
Pat was an exceptional mother to her one and only daughter, Cally with whom she loved to spend special time with. They were mother and daughter, but also best friends.
Pat loved reading, the beach, and gardening. She loved to spend time with family and friends hanging out in the garage, on the beach or with the Middle Georgia gang on their latest adventure. Her smile, laughter and love of life inspired those around her and endeared her in our hearts forever.
Pat is survived by her husband Jim Morgan and daughter Cally Morgan of Winterville, Ga, her mother, Marlene White, a brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Michelle White, a sister and brother-in-law, Todd and Jane Jarrett all of Canton Georgia, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, James Jackson (Jack) White of Canton, Georgia.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Watson Mill State Park Pavilion #1 at 2:00 in the afternoon.
