Carlton - Pat Melton, 69, died Sunday, May 4, 2008 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
A native of Hull, resident of Quit Oaks and former resident of Sandy Cross, she was the daughter of the late James Albert and Reba Joan Yarbrough Melton. She retried from AB&B Incorporated after 35 years and was a member of Hull Baptist Church.
She is survived by Jimmy C. Johnson and his four sons, Randy Johnson of Watkinsville, Stan Johnson of Athens, Jody Johnson of Lexington, Jeff Johnson of Matthews, N.C., as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at Hull Baptist Church at 2 PM with Rev. Randy Crowe and Rev. Hoyt Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home. The family is at the residence of Stan Johnson.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Residentís Flower Garden at Quiet Oaks Health Care, P.O. Box 613, Crawford, GA 30630.
