Rayle - Pam S. Polk, 54, wife of John David Polk, died Thursday, September 23, 2010 at her residence.
Born in Harlington , Tex., she was the daughter of Robert A. Smith of Colbert and the late Betty Geeter Smith. She retired from McClane Southeast after 16 years.
Survivors in addition to her husband and mother include two children, Heather (Bo) McEathron of Hartwell and Steven Polk of Rayle; sister, Sandy (Randy) Boring of Colbert; brother, Calvin Smith of Colbert; grandchildren, Rebecca Armour, Rae Leigh Armour, Ashley, Tyler, Dakota and Brandon McEathron.
Graveside services will be held Monday, September 27, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Clark Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 at the funeral home.
Lord & Stephens Ogelthorpe Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
