Otis Marion "Chip" Jones

Marietta - Otis Marion "Chip" Jones went to be with the Lord on August 2, 2011.
Chip loved life and truly enjoyed people--it is safe to say that he never met a stranger and all those around him witnessed his ability to entertain. He loved his family and friends, especially the time spent at UGA events and in the north Georgia mountains.
Survivors include his fiancée, Kathleen Gadd, of Marietta; children, Mac and Claire Jones, both of Buford; and sister, Lynda Jones, of Athens.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, August 6, at the chapel of Lord & Stephens Funeral Home West, Bogart, with the Rev. Mitzi Oates officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be members of the original "Aisle 10 Crew".
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday, August 5, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Vista Care Hospice.
