Carlton - Ossie Oneita Scoggins Threlkeld, 97, died February 18, 2010.
Mrs. Threlkeld was a daughter of the late Samuel and Fannie Mildred Tiller Scoggins and was preceded in death by her husband, Henry T. Threlkeld; infant son, Hewell; infant great-grandson; son-in-law, Lee Fields Jr.; and sisters, Lorene Phillips, Fannie Mac Smith, Annie Belle Threlkeld, Claudine Cinnebar and Bessie Willoughby. She was a member of New Hope Presbyterian Church.
Funeral services were Saturday, February 20, 2010, at 2 p.m. at New Hope Presbyterian Church. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include her son, Howard T. (Yvonia) Threlkeld Sr.; daughters, Merle (Dallas) Fields and Bobby Fields; grandsons, Tommy Lee (Deborah) Fields and Howard T. (Angie) Threlkeld Jr.; granddaughter, Linda (Shaw) Dargan, four great-granddaughters, three great grandsons and one great-great granddaughter.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to the New Hope Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Anne Weeks, P.O. Box 95, Comer, GA 30629.
Lord and Stephens, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
