Ossie Oneita Scoggins Threlkeld, 97, died February 18, 2010.
Mrs. Threlkeld was a daughter of the late Samuel and Fannie Mildred Tiller Scoggins and was preceded in death by her husband, Henry T. Threlkeld; infant son, Hewell; infant great grandson; son-in-law, Lee Fields, Jr.; sisters, Lorene Phillips, Fannie Mac Smith, Annie Belle Threlkeld, Claudine Cinnebar and Bessie Willoughby. She was a member of New Hope Presbyterian Church.
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 2:00 PM at New Hope Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Survivors include her son, Howard T. (Yvonia) Threlkeld, Sr.; daughters, Merle (Dallas) Fields, and Bobby Fields; grandsons, Tommy Lee (Deborah) Fields, Howard T. (Angie) Threlkeld, Jr.; granddaughter, Linda (Shaw) Dargan; four great granddaughters; three great grandsons; one great-great granddaughter.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to the New Hope Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund c/o Anne Weeks, PO Box 95, Comer, GA 30629.
