William Odell Garrett, 81, died July 13, 2006.
Born in Madison County, he was the son of the late Stancil and Gracie Evans Garrett. He was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran of WW II and a retired machinist at Anaconda Wire and Cable.
Graveside services will be Saturday, July 15, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Evergreen Memorial Park with Rev. Raymond Duncan officiating.
Survivors include his wife, Frances V. Garrett; 2 sisters, Mozelle Stewart of Marion, NC and Fair Belle Cisson of Greenville, SC; special cousin, John Waggoner; special friends and neighbors, Morgan and Yvonne Edwards and family and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
Lord and Stephens, EAST is in charge of arrangements.
