Bogart, GA - Nora Lee Cooper Witherspoon, 56, died Tuesday, September 7, 2010.
A native of Jackson County, Florida, she was the wife of Cordell Witherspoon and the daughter of Aron Mae Allen and Lester Cooper and the late Fredrick "Buck" Williams. She was employed with the Contemporary Services Corporation at University of Georgia.
Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, September 11, 2010, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 929 S. Tyndall Pkwy., Panama City Florida with burial to follow. Rev. Wesley Kan will officiate.
Survivors in addition to her husband and mother and step-father include children, Kir D. Enoch, William C. (Rebecca) Witherspoon; brother, Sonny E. (Joy) Williams; sister, Valerie Williams, step-brother, Gene Cooper; cousins raised as siblings, Pam (John) Rogers, John L. (Sandy) Allen; five grandchildren, Asim-Malik Enoch-Johnson, Gregory Hall, Jr., Layne H. Witherspoon, Maya E. Witherspoon and Shaye C. Witherspoon.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home WEST.
