Nolan Malcolm

Nolan Malcolm, 79, died September 15, 2015.

A native of Athens, GA, he was a son of the late Martha Grace Marable and Ned Nolan Malcolm. He was also preceded in death by a twin brother, Rolan Malcolm.

Mr. Malcolm retired from the U.S. Forestry Service and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He attended Bishop Baptist Church for many years and greatly enjoyed woodworking and attending his grandchildren's sports games and activities.

Funeral services will be Friday, September 18, 2015 at 3:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-three years, Ernestine Elder Malcolm; daughter, Faith (Nelson) Foell of Bogart; brother, Cleave Malcolm of Bremen, GA; sister-in-law, Sally Malcolm of Watkinsville; grandchildren, Erin Foell and John Reid Foell; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bishop Baptist Church.

Lord and Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
