Dr. Nicholas S. Zevos, 78, of Potsdam, NY and Athens, GA, died at St. Mary's Hospice House on January 2, 2011 due to complications from heart disease. His memory is cherished. He is survived by his spouse, Denise Zevos, son Dorian, daughter Ianthe, and granddaughter, Hazel. He is also survived by his brother, Aristotle Zevos of Manchester, NH.
He was born June 24, 1932, in Manchester, NH, the son of Mary Kotopoulos and Spiros Zevos. He married Denise Martin in New York City in 1966; they were married for 45 years.
Dr. Zevos was a Professor of Chemistry at the State University of New York, Potsdam for 32 years.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to: St. Mary's Hospice House, 1660 Jennings Mill Road, Bogart, GA 30622.
