Athens - Mrs. Nellie Frances Adams Lectka, 90, of Athens, died Monday, April 5, 2010.
Mrs. Lectka was born August 11, 1919, in Washington, D.C., to the late Joseph Foust and Nellie White Adams. She was a professional homemaker and recipient of the WWII Honoree Civilian on the Home Front award. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Janet Elizabeth Lectka.
Graveside services were Thursday April 8, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Oconee Memorial Park.
Survivors include her husband of almost 70 years, William (Bill) Lectka Sr., Athens; daughter and son-in-law, Joan and David Price, Macedonia Community of Greene County, Ga.; son and daughter-in-law, William Donald Jr. and Patricia Lectka, Wales, Great Britain; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
