Watkinsville - Nell B. Thomas, 82, wife of the late James Douglas Thomas, died Saturday, June 14, 2008 at her residence.
Born in Oconee County, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Essie Roberts Brewer. She was a homemaker and retired from Dairy Pak. She was a member of Bogart Baptist Church. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James William Brewer Sr., and sisters, Vera Reuna Kinman and Martha Onita Leggett.
Survivors include her son, Jerry Douglas Thomas of Watkinsville; brother, Mell Brewer of Arnoldsville; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Monday, June 16, 2008 at 3 p.m. at Willoughby Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Wilkes officiating. Pallbearers will be Travis Horne, Brad Horne, Todd Kinman, Mark Thomas, Mitch Thomas and Herman Fields.
Visitation will be held tonight from 6 - 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Hospice.
