Necie Earnest Prickett, 80, died September 5, 2006.
Born in Fayette County, AL, she was an Athens resident since 1963. She was the daughter of the late Fayette and Ellen Mullinax Earnest and widow of Garnett Prickett. Mrs. Prickett was retired from Benson Bakery and was a member of Christian Life Worship Center.
Survivors include her sisters, Archieva Kilgore of Jasper, AL and Elizabeth Godsey of Nauvoo, AL and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, September 8, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Lord and Stephens Chapel, EAST. Pastors John Ingham and Bobby Davis will officiate. Interment will be Saturday at 11:00 AM CST at Flat Woods Cemetery, Berry, AL.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Keen Age Sunday School Class.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6:00 until 9:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christian Life Worship Center, 125 Kathwood Drive, Athens, GA 30607.
