Athens, GA - Neal Emerson Condon, 78,died February 6, 2009.
He was the son of the late Roland, Sr. and Cora Wilder Condon. A lifelong Athens resident, Mr. Condon owned and operated Copper Kettle & House of Cheese for over 30 years. He lived and was on the Board of Directors of Thompson Farm and worked tirelessly around the grounds.
Memorial services will be Monday, February 9, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Lord and Stephens Chapel, EAST.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Condon; daughter, Cheryl Conley and her husband Chuck of Millen; granddaughters, Camille Conley White and her husband, Caleb, Christine Conley and her fiancé, Adam May and Cayte Conley and her friend, Justin Vickery; brother, Roland Condon of Athens and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 4:00 until 6:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Forest Heights Baptist Church or the American Heart Association.
