Nathan Evans Wilkins

Colbert, GA - Nathan E. Wilkins, 85, died Thursday, April 18, 2013. Born in Clarke County, he was the son of the late Hugh and Claudia Patton Wilkins and was also preceded in death by his wife; Blanche Smith Wilkins, a son, Ronald Wilkins and granddaughter, Debbie Wilkins.
Mr. Wilkins was retired from General Times as a tool and die maker after 32 years, served in the US Army during WWII and was a member of Sonlight Baptist Church.
Survivors include his son, Steve (Patricia) Wilkins of Colbert; daughter, Robin (Ronnie E.) Moon of Carlton; sister: Lillian Lowe of Colbert; eight grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Lord and Stephens Chapel, EAST with Rev. Lee Smith officiating. Interment will be in Winterville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Michael Wilkins, Doug Wilkins, Chad Wilkins, Cody LaCount, Kelly LaCount and Terry Wilkins.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
