Nathan James Terpin

Watkinsville, GA - Nathan James Terpin, 18 year old son of Jim and Shari Terpin, died August 11, 2013.
Nathan was an active member of Prince Avenue Baptist Church for many years and was relied on for his audio and visual technology skills. He was a vital part of the children's and high school ministries in this capacity. Most recently he served as a children's camp counselor. Nathan was also a sound technician with Cornerstone Productions/Overlook Sound.
Nathan was a 2013 graduate of Oconee County High School and was the sousaphone section leader in the Oconee County High School Marching Band. He served as a sound technician and was and important part of their Fellowship of Christian Athletes organization. In his spare time, Nathan enjoyed volunteering for the American Red Cross at University of Georgia events. He was also a licensed ham radio operator.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Prince Avenue Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Oconee Memorial Park.
Survivors in addition to his parents include four siblings, Bethany, Joshua, Isaac and Robert; his great grandmother, Ruth Spears, all of Watkinsville and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Prince Avenue Baptist Church or the American Red Cross.
Lord and Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
