Hull - Nathan Howard Hammond, 76, died Friday, October 20, 2006 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born in Hall County, he was the son of the late Nathan C. Hammond and Ruby Bennett Gerrien. He served his country in the US Army.
Survivors include his long time friend, Betsy Pierce, of Hull, daughter, Becky Haney of Atlanta, sister, Fannie Houseman of Watkinsville, and step son, Rodney Pierce of Hull.
A memorial service will be held, 4PM, Sunday, October 22, 2006 at Lord & Stephens East Chapel.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
Lord & Stephens, EAST is in charge of arrangements.
