Nannie Sue (Anderson) Michael

Mrs. Nannie Sue Anderson Michael, 93, passed away at home following a period of declining health. Mrs. Michael was born in Lithonia, GA on September 9, 1919 to J.J. and Janie Campbell Anderson. She was a homemaker and will always be remembered for special and loving mother and friend.
Mrs. Michael was preceded in death by her parents as well as husbands Howard Bacon and Jack Michael; brothers, J.T. Anderson, Earnest Mullins, John Mullins, Guy Mullins, and Leon Mullins; sisters, Lucille Burger and Alma Lyle. She is survived by her daughters and sons in law, Jane and Starling Kilburn and Beth and Bill Gilmer; granddaughter and grandson in law, Lea and John Flotz; great grandsons Brandon Flotz, and Andrew Foltz; several nephews and nieces; special friends, Mike, Judy and Patty Whitaker, Monique Wisher and Wanda Ashe.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 1, 2013 from 1:00 until 2:00 PM. Graveside service will immediately follow at Oconee Hill Cemetery with the Revs. Jerry Varnado, Odell Elrod, and James Ashe officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be Gary Michael, Wayne Self, John Flotz, Rod Morgan, Dennis Flanagan, and Charles Seagraves.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Compassionate Hospice for their wonderful care.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to Ray's UMC Building Fund, 1521 Ray's Church Road Bishop, GA 30621.
