Elba, Alabama- Nancy Lee Clair Jordan, 69, of Elba, Alabama, formerly of Hull, GA, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2007 in Enterprise.
Mrs. Jordan was born September 30, 1937 in Pennsylvania to the late Clyde and Alice Morris Clair. She was retired as an office manager having worked with Met Life Ins. Co. in Athens for a number of years. She was a former member of the Union Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Serena Powell (Johnny), Elba, Ala. (Damascus Community); one sister, Vivian Hauser, Blairsville, Pa.; one brother, Mark Clair, Asheville, N.C.; three grandchildren, Dale, Corby and Everly Powell; two great-grandchildren, Tristan and Taylor Fite; nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be Saturday, August 4, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Union Baptist Church with Rev. Walter Singletary and Danny Whitsel officiating. Burial was in Elba, AL.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the SOS Animal Shelter, 25944 Hwy. 84/134, Enterprise, AL 36330.
