Nancy Herd

Nancy Elizabeth Herd, 73, of Bishop, died Tuesday May 10, 2016. Nancy was born in Hamilton, Ohio to the late Alfred Darling and Georgia Mobley. She was a Sunday School teacher at Elder Road Baptist Church and longtime member of Grace Baptist Church in Bogart. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by siblings Mary Lou Black and John Darling, grandson, Kenneth Paul Denney, and nephew Jason Herd. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, John Herd, children; Theresa Herd, Barbara (Thomas Frank) Sigman, John Wayne Herd, and Charline Jenkins, sister, Florence Margaret Callahan, grandchildren; Michael Bruce Ferrell, Ron Stone, Kristen Herd, Brandon Herd, Dylan Jenkins, Alex Sigman, Chloe Hollis, great grandchildren; Brent McDaniels and Kaylee McDaniels, and nieces and nephews; Nancy Back, Debbie Henderson, Bonnie Baker, Donna Brunner, Nollie Cook, George Callahan, Alfred Callahan, Shannon Herd, Sheryl Foster, Rick Foster, and Susan Foster.
