Nan S. Holloman

Nan S. Holloman, 99, died March 19, 2023.

A native of Cornelia, GA, Mrs. Holloman was a daughter of the late Jesse Alexander and Maxine Tribble Stevens and the widow of Alva Lee “Bobo” Holloman. She lived in the Athens area since 1964 and retired from the Navy School of Athens after twenty-six and a half years. She was a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church since 1970. Nan was the oldest member of the church and founded the SPIRIT Sunday School Class and taught it for many years.

A visitation will be Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 2:00 until 3:00 PM at Lord and Stephens, WEST followed by a funeral service in the chapel with Rev. Rick Brittain officiating. Interment will be on Monday at Evergreen Memorial Park.

Survivors include a son, Gary Holloman; two grandchildren, Shane William Holloman and Christopher Travis Holloman.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mars Hill Baptist Church.
