Myrtle Gladys Tucker, 83,of Winterville, died October 6, 2005.
A native of Oglethorpe County, she was the daughter of the late Olin C.,Sr. and Lona Pethel Cape and widow of Rudolph Thurman Tucker, Jr. She was a member of Winterville First United Methodist Church.
Graveside services will be Sunday, October 9, 2005 at 2:00 PM at Winterville Cemetery with Rev. Bill Reeves officiating.
Survivors include her children, Charles (Henrietta) Tucker of Winterville and Bettie Carolyn Simpson of Albany; sister, Reba Clayton of Athens; brother, Herbert (Betty Jo) Cape of Winterville; grandchildren, Joseph Tucker, John (Sheila) Tucker, Jim Tucker, Jeffrey (Diane) Simpson and Sherry Simpson and 9 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Winterville First United Methodist Church or River of Life.
