Morris Shoeffitt

Athens - Morris Shoffiett, age 84, of Athens, passed away September 8, 2011, at his home.
Mr. Shoffiett was a World War II veteran and was retired from Guardian Wire & Cable Co.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Magda, a loving pet, Hydie, his god-children, Val and Landon Hyde, and a great host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, one sister, and two brothers, all of Alabama.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 10, at the Lord & Stephens East Chapel, with the Rev. Buford Lockman officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Shoffiett would like to thank Compassionate Care Hospice and Rosi for their expression and care.
