Monica Smith Herrera

Monica Smith Herrera, age 57 of Athens passed away at her residence following a brief illness, on Sunday, October 02, 2011. Mrs. Herrera was born in Atlanta to Henry and Fannie Smith on September 20, 1954. She is survived by her children Donna Harper, Alejandro Carrillo, Shelby Carrillo, and Melisa Gaona; 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; and 1 sister. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 04, 2011 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Memorial services to be held on Wednesday, October 05, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Larry Davison officiating. Lord and Stephens East is in charge of arrangements.
